Fuyumi Murata is a Tokyo-based interdisciplinary artist. She received her MFA from Tokyo University of the Arts and is currently a PhD candidate in the Inter-Media Program. She uses photography and philosophy to create relationships between humans and cameras. Her photographs explore themes of vision and sameness, while challenging the way that humans see. Her aim is to change the way that photography is viewed today.
